damn, my grandfather,.. for years we watched him loose more and more of himself, telling him why he can't go home, that his wife died years ago, having to restrain him cause he ran away....

Sorry I made you cry!
I was really surprised by how many people's grandparents suffer from Alzheimer's. I've received tons of comments where people have told me that one or two of their relatives have experienced the same thing. Comments like this make me more aware of the disease than anything else.
It's really very sad.
