Summary: This is where Veela come to die. My LJ doesn't, actually, but I'm sorry if it bothered you. I actually never use that sort of coding for my warnings - they're just out there. It was the coding from the header the fest required.

It's no problem - I imagine the HTML is working right, but they coded it for the page they used. I just left it alone since I don't mess with that. I guess it'll work for some and not others then, lol.
