IMPORTANT UPDATES

SIGN-UPS AND PROMPT CLAIMING WILL COMMENCE AT THE SAME TIME on:
JUNE 5, 4:00 P.M. GMT

It is the same time as last year's.


~~What will we be needed to indicate?
1. Username (unless logged-in)
2. E-mail (IMPORTANT! Please give your primary one)
3. Top 5 chosen prompts from the Prompt Collection list
4. If you're signing up as "writer" or "artist"

~~I don't have an LJ account, may I still join?
YES. Yes you may. :D You may post as anon, but as indicated above, indicate the username you want us to address you as Author/Artist by.


~~I know of someone who writes/draws bottom!Draco goodness, can I wheedle them to participate in the fest?
PLEASE! By all means please do. Bring them to the dark side, we offer a lot of cookies ;D Just link them to the community and say that everything they need to know is in the welcome note :D The fest links are open to the public. They do not need an LJ account to comment.


~~How do I convert it to my own timezone?
1. Click on this link
2. Choose Use The Following Date/Time: <- DON'T FORGET this!
3. Type in the Date as June 5 2010 and set the time to 04:00:00 P.M.
4. From Time Zone: GMT
5. To Time Zone: (find your city here)


~~Not available to go online that time?
If in the case that you cannot come online in the given time, you may ask a friend to represent for you and post your prompts for you. The reason why we're announcing the time a week earlier is for you guys to find a representative. Just remind them to:
1. Remember that they should indicate who they are representing!
2. They should indicate your e-mail and not theirs
3. REMIND them to sign you up the night before (at June 4). If they won't mind, remind them about the sign-ups constantly


~~Will we allow for back-up representatives?
If you feel like your representative would likely forget or might forget to sign you up, have a back-up who would sign-up for you. We will allow you to have up to 2 representatives. In the case that both signed you up on June 5, then we will consider the representative who signed you up first in the ordering of prompt claiming.


~~I don't know anyone who can be online at that time, what do I do?
Well, this post is for you.
1.Just leave a comment requesting anyone in the community who would be available at the time to sign you up
2. Should you be discussing with someone from the community, please do so via PM. We don't want the others knowing about what your top 5 prompts are now do we? ;D
3. Have them swear on their lives that they will be online when you need them to. :)

Just a question, becaue I've been having timezone trouble a lot recently :P

When you say 4.00PM GMT, do you mean that as 4.00pm UK time? Because it's actually GMT +1 here at the moment, as I recently found out =P

If not, ignore that xD But I can't wait! :D

If where you live it's GMT+1, then just add an hour to 4:00PM. Meaning, June 5 4PM GMT = June 5 5PM GMT (London).
