If it has the HEEHEE on the end, yes; if someone is just nervous about their first post then not necessarily.

Actually all the same things that make me like top!Draco as well - I don't seperate them. Some of the character studies of bottom!Draco are more interesting than top!Draco, but I like him because he is a conflicted, sneaky Slytherin, with an acid tongue, that he has been known to put to good use for things other than talking :).

I'm going to answer all of these at the same time, as I will give roughly the same answer for all three of them. For me, it has to do with whether it's believable or not and/or whether it's well written. I've seen examples of all three that made me retch. And I've read stories of all three kinds that I've liked. A lot.
When it comes to mpreg, I have a problem with the believability part of it, but I've read several absolutely wonderful parodies with mpreg. Though I've yet to see a "serious" mpreg fic that I like.
Bottom!Draco or top!Draco is all about the characterization. I've seen them both in incredibly good fic, and in dismally bad fic, and I've liked the former and disliked the latter. Which doesn't necessarily mean that I liked Draco as a person in them. A nasty Draco can be a wonderful top or bottom in a fic, as long as the characterization is believable. At least that's how I see it.

Yes. And it's the HEEHEE at the end that does it. Almost everyone is nervous about posting their first story, and that doesn't necessarily mean that the fic is going to be bad. The HEEHEE though... *shudders* If I had lots of time on my hands I might check it out. If not, I would wait and see if it turned up on someone's rec list before reading it. I'm lazy like that... *shrugs*

B!Draco: there's just a quality to him that makes him more likeable than top!Draco. He tends to be more vulnerable, kinder, or at least more willing to change.
T!Draco: not really, just don't like him as much. He has a tendancy to be kind of an arse.

*shudder* Those stories bother me, because sometimes constructive feedback isn't very nice. I want to be honest and I feel like I can't.

Draco is usually written to be the dominate one. I like to see Draco let go of a situation, and be dominated by someone else. I like that there maybe more than just the one side to Draco.

Generally, no, but it depends on how they phrase it. If it's "this is my first story so don't be harsh HEEHEE" then I just look at the summary and start reading, if I can't stand two paragraphs of it, then I stop.

Draco has 'bottom' written all over him in bright, flashing, neon letters. I honestly can't imagine him topping for anyone, he's too used to being submissive and, although a lot of fans can't admit it, he's a huge wimp. I just don't think he could handle topping. On a more pervy note, Bottom!Draco is so hot. It doesn't even matter what the pairing is, as long as Draco's the bottom... It really does it for me. Too much information, I know, but...

Violent? No. Confusion? Yes. Unlike Bottom!Harry, Top!Draco doesn't really squick me so much as boggle my mind. I really can't see him being a topper, I just can't. That and Top!Draco simply doesn't do it for me, I don't find it appealing at all, especially in Harry/Draco (Bottom!Harry is SO squicky).

The majority of mpreg I have found comes of as sounding like it was done by some preteen writer who can't figure out that parenthood is not the "ultimate" in every realationship. Not to say I haven't seen it done well, because I have, but rarely.

Every single time. As a rule I proceed with caution, or stop reading, based on the begining. If I stop, I will return to the story only if the author writes something else I enjopy or it is rec'd by some one whose recs I trust.
But if an author speacks negativly about theire fic I won't even give them a chance. I figure if the author thinks badly their work, it must have some basis in truth. Which is harsh but seriously, no one should give a pre opinion of their work. It will shape the readers opinions and they can very easily sabotage themselves.

Top!Draco: I don't like Top!Draco. Sure, maybe once in awhile, but not ALL the time. I don't think he'll be THAT top-ish. It makes me irritated and I stop reading.

it depends. i've read fics start off just like this and turns out great. generally i'll give it a chance and read the first chapters or so. but if it has a mary sue or gary stu in there, then hell no.

i like bottom!draco because i'm just so sick of innocent little puppy-eyed harry and big evil rapist draco. personally i prefer my favorite male characters to be on bottom in most fandoms, since that gives them more of a chance of being "persued" or "cherished" (am i making any sense?) and draco in my mind is a small bratty kid, somewhat vulnerable and cute, so bottom he is.

bottom!harry, or bottom!snape, especially the types in some fics or pics (like in some japanese doujinshis, no offense) that are wide-eyed, super-virginal, righteous, and oh-so-vulnerable. they give me the creeps. i just can't see either harry or snape be bottom unless with non-con or a character strong as voldie.
btw, i'm sorry bush won, too. just don't get it how he can win with that imcompetent record.

Neither do ape males, or lion males, or any other mammal males. It's very basic biology, really. :P That said, I've nothing against people who write mpreg, it's a free world. No, I don't think "oh shit," I simply don't read it. I usually get fic through rec lists anyway. I've long ago noticed a negative correlation between someone announcing that something is "their first fic so don't be harsh" and the quality of stories.

Because it seems out of character, and when well done, it's exquisite.
