So, I was digging through some of my recently bookmarked FF.net recs and thought I'd share them. I'm also currently following a few other promising multi-chaptered WIPs on FF.net and as an impatient person, very slowly updated WIPs sometimes turn me into a tantrum-throwing child (wailing and screaming and demanding I want, I want and I want NOW)  so, for now I'm only going to be sharing those that are completed.

All are Harry/Draco focused and in no order whatsoever.

Multi-chaptered:

1. Ex Libris by zsuzsi
Rating: R
Summary: Harry's a Quidditch player who runs across Draco working in a quiet bookshop on the end of Diagon Alley. A low-key, no-fuss romance.
My notes: Harry's the stud, Draco the virgin.

2. There's something about Malfoy by Cassie-Black1
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Strange things keep happening to Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter is determined to get to the bottom of it. He may end up with more than he bargained for. Features Veela!Draco and Mate!Harry.
My notes: H/D cliche yes but here's why I fell in love with it: "Draco, we had sex once. You cried afterwards and then declared yourself gay. It was hardly the most earth shattering experience a girl could have." Yes, loved it, I did, very very much. Bottom!Draco.

3. Mon chat by AntoinetteD
Rating: PG??
Summary: What happens when in his animagus form, Draco gets taken in as Harry Potters new pet? Will seeing the 'real' Harry potter change his feelings for the man? Will any of that matter once Pansy finds out?
My notes: Draco Malfoy purrs - need I say more?

4. The burden of memory by Digitallace
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Draco Malfoy has woken in muggle London, unaware of his name or his past. When Harry finds him he is healthy, content and preparing to marry a stranger. While trying to help Draco recover his memory, Harry falls in love with him and oddness ensues.
My notes: The smut doesn't happen often and neither were the scenes overly descriptive but the way the fic goes, it implies SWITCHING between the men. The once or twice the smut scenes did actually get descriptive, Draco bottoms.

5. What if by Katrina Marie Pace ***
Rating: R
Summary: What would have happened if Harry had accepted Draco's hand all those years ago? Draco wonders everyday…so he goes back in time to figure out.
My notes: I love this one best! Heads up: through half of the story, Draco's tough,macho and very dominant - oh don't look at me like that, he still bottoms (and that's the sweetest part, he submits only to Harry). There's a very valid reason why Draco's like that. Read the fic and while you're at it, look up the 'Butterfly Effect' as well because this fic screams the theory. WARNING: Draco TOPS in the very last chapter. (Just that once).


Oneshots:

1. The advantages of being a mouse by FawkesFyre
Rating: R
Summary: While Draco is out gathering potions ingretients in the Forbidden Forest one fateful night after eavesdropping in the Gryffindor common room, Hedwig gets peckish and scopes Draco- a mouse animagus- out. It's up to Harry to save him!
My notes: Cute piece!

2. The Draco faction by Resident Goddess
Rating: R
Summary: Hogwarts has been bitten by the lust-bug and Draco Malfoy appears to be the only one immune. Unfortunately for him, he has no idea what's going on! So, his arch-nemesis decides to help him out...
My notes: Oblivious!Draco and Molester!Harry are winners!!

3. 50 things Draco Malfoy is not allowed to do by Marauders-and-Lily-I-love
Rating: PG??
Summary: Pansy and Blaise make a list of things Draco is not allowed to do.
My notes: In Draco's defense, those are exactly the 50 things he should do - and hopefully more. I have to admit, the author's Things Not Allowed To Do, featuring various HP characters are hilarious. Feel free to check the others featuring Sirius, James Potter senior and the Weasley twins here.

4. 15 things Draco Malfoy can not do by Vampirerule117
Rating: PG??
No summary given
My notes: This is what happens when you make Draco Malfoy write lines. My mistake, this one here is chaptered.

5. Death Eaters, Online Chatroom by Elishaiba Daere
Rating: PG
Summary: The Death Eaters are in an online chatroom when they are joined by the Hogwarts gang. Randomness insues.
My notes: This isn't really a H/D piece but this proves why old Voldy's gang should never ever be introduced to the wonderful invention that is online chatting.

I so understand what you mean. It actually happens about 60 per cent of the time. They either contain a wimpy, clingy, overly 'bottom-y' Harry (no thanks, I like my Harry strong, powerful, confidant and dominant please. He's the Savior of The Wizarding World for the love of God! Switching is fine with me but an overly 'bottom-y' Harry is not.) or severely atrocious spelling, spacing and grammar usage.

*grin* What can I say? I'm a very impatient person. Stumbled across a cute, cute novel-length piece two weeks back and sobs the thing ended with a cliffie!! I'm still all jittery for the next update of the fic.

Um, I'm only at Chapter 14 and so far other than a few affectionate touches, there's no actual smut. Yet. But the fic's well-written, Draco's character is such a darling, Harry is very protective - it's one of those accidental bonds H/D fics and to top it all, Draco has wings!! I have high hopes of this one being a b!Draco, though there's a possibility there might be switching (between being penetrated) too. It definitely isn't going to be a B!Harry fic if that was your concern.

I suppose you could read this one: Silent Confessions of The Obsessed (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4655288/1/Silent_Confessions_of_the_Obsessed#), insanely cute, lots of fluff, a petite blond Slytherin with shiny lip gloss and yes, 100% B!Draco - while I read and vet through Delayed Devotion for the possibility of Draco bottoming for Harry?

Thanks for the recs. I liked couple of the fics on the list. I'm very wary of reading stuff from Fanfiction.net. There are so many bad fics there, but I think I should spend some time going through the site for the hidden gems. Thanks.
