Hey everyone, can you guys please help me find fics where Draco bottoms in their sextual relationship but is still very strong, smart, independent and is able to fight his own battles. I really want to find a Draco who doesnt 'bottom' in every part of his life. where he actually fights his fights and doesnt hide behind Harry or any other male character he's with. Can you help me?

The fic that immediately comes to mind is The Shadow of His Wings (http://web.archive.org/web/20110707032415/http://theguestroom.houseofhobbits.com/hp/sohw.html). It's a 21 chapter (plus outtakes) WIP that hasn't been updated since 2007. Even though it's unlikely to ever be finished, I think it's worth reading because the characterization of Draco and Harry is superb. This link is via the wayback machine, since the author's site keeps coming up with 404 errors when I try it.
