Notes: Dear
who_la_hoop, I totally agree with you that the movie was a very romantic one. It has always been one of my old time favourite classics and I enjoyed re-watching it during the creation of this fic. I had to alter and change a little bit to fit for H/D so it probably didn’t entirely follow how you might have imagined it to be, but I hope you’ll still find it likable. Those of you who knew the movie well will probably find some exact dialogues that I deliberately left in there. Hotel names - since I’ve never had the chance yet to visit London, all the hotel names in the fic were found through Google, please disregard them if there happen to have direction or location errors. Regarding the artifacts, I borrowed names from actually existing ones but the history behind them is all made up. Thank you to Vyna, my dear friend, for the hand-holding and being with me the whole time I’ve been panicking over this fic. Thank you to the lovely mods, for being patient with me and indulging my endless request for extensions. Thank you to K and L for the last minute beta-ing. You’re lifesavers! Truly!
Summary: Harry didn’t know if picking up a random rent boy was such a good idea...even if he was just asking for directions.
