could someone tell me what exactly is anon? im not well versed in the jargon of fanfiction :)

Anon = anonymous. Often refers to those without accounts or those choosing to post without logging in. The term isn't confined to fanfiction though lol. It's pretty much universal. Go google it if you're still confused.
