You can. I will note that :D and as of right now we are focusing on the comm first the fest question was just so when we are ready to do it we can start thinking of a timeline that works for the community. Since we want all the readers and all the love on the work at the B_DFest :D
Now how I like to do things is prompt about five-six months in advance and do claiming early that way so that there is a long writing period since I am one of those writers who enjoy a longer writing period. But the fest and how we run it will be determined by all the mods as a group effort. I just run the polls to answer some of the questions we've been asking ourselves. So this question will be for posting. We can run the whole fest in three months but that seems very chaotic and time consuming to me and most writers are participating in lots of fests so I prefer the longer writing period like I've said. :)
