"But I didn’t mean to," Harry whispered, horrified. "Draco, he needs me … I promised …"

That was positively riveting, I swear my heart stopped reading about Draco being chained into a ghostly existence, but Harry saving him and happily ever after *__* The chain of events was an amazing representation of how Harry and Draco could have worked out their differences. The time gaps weren't confusing at all and seems to stitch the story together. Cheers!

Thanks! Writing it all out of order was a huge challenge for me, so I'm relieved to hear it works.

Heartbreakingly beautiful. I was afraid to start reading it but you caught my attention with the journals and I couldn't tear my eyes away. I held my breath to the end hoping that they would at least have an afterlife together with the boys.

84 Charing Cross Road - one of my favorite books.

ILU!!

While incredibly heartbreaking, this fic is also filled with so much hope. I love that Harry and Draco still get to spend eternity together. <3

My heart broke for Draco so much though. Especially after losing his sons, and then to lose Harry, too. And that scene with Blaise! When Harry possessed him and Draco couldn't see him there!

Heart wrenching! This fic completely pulls you in and then squeezes your heart and then fills it back up again with love! <3

Excellent job!

Thanks!!! I'm so happy it worked out the way I wanted it to. I was so afraid while writing it, that it was going to come across disjointed and nonsensical. :P

*flailing so, so, soooo much* This was amazing! To be honest, it was painful reading this - smiling and sobbing all the way to the end - but it was so, so, sooooo worth it. It was exquisite! I don't quite know how to describe how this brilliant, brilliant fic made me feel but know that it was FEELS OF ALL KINDS OF WONDERFUL! I love that Harry and Draco felt so canon! I love the way Harry and Draco got together! I love the way you told the story through perfectly timed flashbacks and time-gaps! I love the spine-tingling sexiness of the sex scenes! (OMGSQUEEEEE!!!) Most of all, I love the perfect happy ending (as perfect as it could be considering the circumstances) for Harry and Draco and their family!

You've managed to balance both heart-wrenching, painful angst with sweet, breathtaking romance beautifully. Seriously, I have no words to describe how perfectly balanced both angst and sweetness are! I definitely would not call this a tragic romance because the beauty of Harry and Draco's love for each other... and how, because of that love, they've manage to find their way back to each other despite everything. No, it was anything but tragic. It was beautiful and moving!

P.S. I don't know the original... but after reading this, oh, I definitely want to watch it now :D

Thanks so much for reading it and loving it despite the warnings. I'm flailing so hard over this lovely comment. I am over the moon happy that it moved you! It was really REALLY hard to write, and I'm so glad it came together all right. I wrote it all out of order and sort of fitted it together like a jigsaw puzzle, so I was concerned it would read jarringly.

*hugs* All your hardwork in writing this masterpiece was worth it! I mean it! Seriously, I've never been so moved... so touched... and so in love with your brand of angst before. I could cry every time I read this and still love it ♥

This turned out just gorgeous! Such a complex plot to work with, but you did it SO well. <3 All of the feels, both good and bad. Seriously.

The scene that gets me every time is the one where Harry finally breaks after the boys' deaths. No matter how many times I read it, I just can't help the tears.

it had been very long time since i last cried this much while reading something..i can't described in words how much ur story affected me..its a masterpiece i must say..all these emotions of happiness, love, sadness, longing, agony and the sacrifice for each other..it took my breath away...
i laughed hard when they bantered through the journal..the pen-sex scene was so hot! and when harry tried to lure draco to submit to him..i really laughed hard for a while..it was so funny yet so hot!
and about the 2 adorable boys, teddy and scorp..i coo-ed on them, but when i realized about their death..gosh! the empty feeling in me was so hard to handle!and the grief draco and harry had been suffering..i just can't bear it..</3 harry and draco's death tore me apart..i had been choking, sobbing and down-right crying....but at the end, when they finally got together back again, all 4 of them..i had smile through my tears...:') i applaud for u dear author..u r a genius.. *salutes u* please tell us ur name..i really wud like to read more from u..:) <3

I mentioned in my journal that I was reading this and that this movie has a special place in my heart. My dad and I watch this movie together every year and always cry throughout the entire thing. I remember once when I was in middle school, he told me he couldn't bear the thought of anyone in the family dying. This fic captures the emotions of the original movie perfectly. I'm crying and smiling as I write this. The adjustments to make the fic magical, as well as the love story between Harry and Draco is well done - and quite hot, if I may say so.
I love the dialogue in this fic. Between everyone. Seriously, the characters are incredibly real. I love how the fic is laid out and we catch glimpses of Harry and Draco's lives. Despite the little glimpses, we as readers are given plenty of plot and romance to keep us INCREDIBLY satisfied.

Beautiful piece. I'm definitely saving this for a comfort read.

Glorious. Well-crafted and so emotive. My heart ached for Harry and Draco. The smut was simultaneously hot and tender. I loved everything about this wonderful fic. I've always heard great things about this film, but have never seen it. I will definitely be checking it out now.

Thanks so much for reading and letting me know you liked it! The film is pretty good. The thing I like about it most is the imagery, where heaven is like a blank canvas one can create like a painting.

I put off reading this story because I knew, I just knew that it was going to make me cry. I finally gave in and I was right. All the comments above say everything I want to say. Except that I consider a story truly great when it is able to draw a viseral reaction from the reader. And you have done that tenfold. I think I started crying during the first scene and took brief breaks I between my sobbing to enjoy the interesting elements like the journals and the way you had Hermione use the Resurrection Stone. I am glad I read this. It really was very well done and very well written.

Aww!! Sorry to make you cry, but I'm very happy that it did have that impact. It's what I was going for.. My challenge was to write a death!fic with a happy ending.

Thanks so much for reading!

Yes! I did finally get to read it, and it was every bit as emotional as I'd expected!

Oh my heart! I'm so glad you ended it on a happy note or I may not have been able to take it T_T It was bittersweet tracing through the memories of Harry and Draco (and their sons, who are perfectly adorable - Teddy as Dumbledore was inspired!) knowing what was coming. But then, it turned out that I didn't know what was coming since you put a big bandaid on it and made it better! I loved how you treated the concept of ghosts and what happens beyond the veil. And I'm glad that Harry was able to swoop in save the day, even after death!
