Notes: I am a picky reader if it comes to an angst fanfiction. I rarely finish angst unless its super good. And boy is this a gem. Usually its Ron being The (capital T) asshole of a friend to Harry but this time its Hermione. Which was a new experence because usually if its Hermione its her and someone else (as the main spotlight ass. This one has two other assholes but we rarely see them). The story was not rediculously slow paced- it cut scenes when needed and knew how to play my heart. The relationshil between Draco and Harry in this writing to me felt relistic. They still fight like cats and dogs- but behind closed doors we get to see how much they love each other despite all odds. If you need an angsty Drarry but with a happy ending this is the story for you.

Hi! So I'm looking for a fic that I read years ago on ff.net, it's been driving me crazy!
Here's what I remember but I might be mixing it up with some other fics maybe?

So! Harry finds a kid (teenage I think, like them) and the kid claims he's Draco's son, and that he's time traveled back? So Harry takes him to Draco who has his own room in the dungeons, and Draco takes to being a parent straight away. The kid won't say who his other father is, but it is later found out that it was Harry. I think either Harry or Draco died in his timeline, and that he's emotional because he can finally be with him again? And that he's not an only child either, I think he has a younger sister. Random details I remembered were;
- Harry and Draco weren't together yet
- Draco gets bullied by other students?
- Blaise is somehow envolved, I think he's one of the bullies
- Drarry's son is taller than Draco
- I think it's Scorpius, and he was sent back by the light side?
- Draco died I think, along with his little/unborn sister?
- Draco had a hidden garden maybe? or some type of illusion garden even though he was underground in the dungeon.

That's all I can remember, I swear I've asked in some HP fic finder and I found it again but I'm not really sure!

Alright so I am rewriting Titanic as a Harry/Draco story because apparently I'm a masochist. But before starting, I was doing some 'research'(read: watching the movie) and I find that gender inequalities and het are the very essence of the story. So I was wondering if how slash will fit in. Of course, one can write about the unacceptability of homosexuality in that age but that will steal the spotlight from the issues in the movie, i.e., divide in social classes and sinking of the ship. Moreover it will wind up being incredibly long, I'll be too lazy to write it and thus it'll be abandoned.

So there can be two other ways to write this: either a world where homosexuality is a non-issue or a world with female Draco aka genderbending. I can't decide between the two so, thoughts/opinions anyone?

Also I'm not sure how to tag this so there's a plethora of tags. I'm sorry.

Poor little me needs help. Again. This is what I remember.

- Harry, Ron, Dean etc. were fighting Voldemort and the DE.
- Harry and Draco loving each other but fighting with each other the whole time. Others are concerned about the "wrongness" of their relationship.
- Harry leaving for last battle against Voldemort.
- Hermione and Percy obliviate Draco and make Harry believe him dead.
- Harry is devastated. Gets closer to Pansy and Blaise who try to help him.
- Harry tries to sleep with Blaise but feels as if he was cheating on Draco (who woke up in NY, got help from a social worker called Michael (who is falling for Draco) and an old Lady called Maggy)
- Pansy and Harry think about marrying (I guess it should be some fake you-do-your-thing-I-do-mine marriage)
- they (Pansy, Harry, Blaise, Pansys female lover) go on vacacion to Italy, bla, bla, NY
- meet Draco, save him from another abduction by Percys/Hermiones men
- fall in love anew
- Happy end

You see, I know quite a lot about this story and I know that I have it saved in my little "library". But I don't know the name. Meh.

One of you has any idea?

Hey guys,

as the title says: I am in the mood for a little bit of angst. I like to read Draco as a Healer, working - when suddenly there's a panic, a great commotion. Aurors and Healers everywhere, some are bloody from head to toe. Draco keeps calm until he sees Ron or maybe Harry directly, lying on the ground and full of blood as well. Then he starts to freak.

Something like that? I know I have read this or something similar - and not just once. But I can't seem to find it, so I am in desperate need for your help and fanfiction expertise. Doesn't have to be explicitly Bottom!Draco, implied and no sex at all is okay as well.

This came out of no were, but I suddenly would LOVE to read a story with Draco, on the run in general, from zombies, or struggling to survive in a world that is falling apart? Most that I have read so far usually are only oneshots, or short, so one that is longer would be great! Who Draco is paired with doesn't matter as long as 1. It's a dude (No side het with him involved), 2. He bottom or there is no sex, 3. if there is switching but the story is so B.A. you still feel the need to recommend it, please warn for it.

Yesterday, I came across a fanfic trailer on youtube at school. It sounded interesting and I planned to read it but when I came back home, I forgot the name of the fic and the name of the author. This is what I remember: At the beginning, Harry and Draco were not quite friends, Harry still hate Draco's guts. The first time they had sex, Harry thought he would take Draco from behind and Draco will be screaming or something. But then, Draco didn't scream, Harry looked at his blissful face instead. I remember Harry tried to be casual about the sex, tried to make it nothing more. The first time Harry dared to whisper "I love you" was when Draco was dead. Voldermort AK Harry and Draco run in front Harry and saved him. Harry finished off Voldermort for Draco but nobody know that.

By a bizarre stroke of luck, I stumbled across this touching novel-length piece that simply stayed stuck in my mind, rendering me all tingly and warm and so utterly touched, days after finishing it, that I felt it should be recommended here.

Well, I'll be honest and say that a large part of the the sequel's ('Still Figuring Out') Chapter 16 (only) hit a little too close (too sore) to home - that had tears dripping down my face. Strangely, my ex-boyfriend broke up with me in almost the same way too. And I reacted a bit too similarly to Ginny Weasley - right up to the very words that left her lips at the end of that chapter. That and that alone could be the reason why I loved this fic so much.

Not only that, but he's living in Hogwarts without actually having anything to do with the students around him. On his way home one night, he sees someone his own age and is instantly intrigued by him. Over the years, the two form a friendship and then a love while Harry tries to destroy the left over army.
