On behalf of all the mods, and I'm sure everyone who's come into contact with our gorgeous banners, we'd like to thank the very talented
cremebunny for not only allowing us to use her artwork but for creating
specifically for this fest; ♥ thank you,
suf_sss,
mizorekibishi,
citrus_lime and
fya-shellk for giving us permission to use their artwork and
arenee1999 for making the banners for that artwork! You are the loveliest of lovely people and we adore you! ♥
Of course we could not have been such a massive success without our readers, rec-ers, commenters, betas, pimpers, prompters, artists and authors! Your love for great works and Draco Malfoy has convalesced into this utterly brilliant Adaptations fest. I hope you feel as heart-burstingly wonderful over that as we do.
Shall we quantify our success? (I'm going to go with an enthusiastic YES because stats are
shiny!)
We had
13 pieces of art and 44 fics! Together we wrote
over 565,550 words of brand new bottom!Draco goodness! *Mind-Blown*
Our longest fic weighed in at 58,000 words - congratulations,
talithan, on your
epic! *rah, rah, high kick*
Harry Potter was easily our most available top (we all know he doesn't have a life outside of waiting around for Draco to want him though) but we had quite a few rare pairs as well! Remus, Tom Riddle Jr., Ron, Snape and Voldemort all made a play for our dear Draco and a few blokes even managed to get in there before Harry did: Theo, Neville and Blaise. Good job, men! Even some females got in on the action: Bellatrix, Luna and Hermione. Equally well done, ladies!
On the Adaptations side of things, we ran the gamut from television to film to comics to manga to myths to plays to novels to porn to fairytales to short stories to songs. Holy crap, our prompters were creative! Thanks for jumping on our theme and mauling it in the face! (In all good ways.)
A special thanks to our participants who were so inspired they submitted for more than one prompt:
citrus_lime,
olimakiella,
fantasyfiend09,
dragontara and
marianna_merlo!
To those who couldn't meet the deadline, you're welcome - and encouraged - to post your finished products to the comm whenever you complete them! d(^^,)b
