The rules are not much different from standard comm rules and the first rules made by the community's founder,
simmysimWhat You Need To KnowFirst and foremost, this is a bottom!Draco community; ergo, this is a community created in support of Draco Malfoy as the "Bottom" in his relationships/hookups with (mostly) male characters. In short, this comm is
mostly geared towards M/M Bottom!Draco. However, that does
not mean Het!Bottom!Draco content is banned - only that they will need to be reviewed by the mods on a
case-by-case basis before posting them here.
Therefore, any promotion of fan-works (within this community) in which Draco is not part of the main pairing or in which he exclusively "Tops" his male love interest will NOT be tolerated. Please understand that to the majority of the members in this comm, “Top!Draco” is a major squick.
Fan-works that have Draco "Switching" are fine so as long as they predominantly feature Draco as the "Bottom" in most, if not all of his bedroom activities and a warning/label for "Switching" is stated CLEARLY by the reccer or the owner of the fan-work. (Please check the
Bottom!Draco FAQ page for more info).
No one should ever have to indicate in all posts/comments that they are interested in/looking for a Bottom!Draco recommendation. For that reason alone, the mods of this community expressly implore that you CHECK and DOUBLE CHECK all fan-works before posting them to this community.
Submissive!Draco fan-works are also welcome in this community.
♥ You should also know that:We, the mods of
bottom_draco interpret the term "Bottom" literally as Draco being the receptive partner (the one being penetrated) in his relationships/bedroom activities with his partner - NOT as a determinant (or stereotype) of submissive/passive/effeminate behavior. But should you want to equate the term "Bottom" to being submissive/passive/effeminate, that is perfectly fine too.( What does "Top/Bottom" mean? )( Rules )( Suggestions and Complaints )Message from the ModsWe are simply your humble behind-the-scenes coordinators who would prefer quietly assisting and managing the community. We are not here to play the role of your police officers. When there is a need to inform or remind you of the rules or even to issue you a warning, we will do our best to be friendly, fair and polite about it. There may be times we'd probably missed something or make mistakes (we are only human after all), but we trust you to return the favor, afford us the benefit of the doubt and let us know politely when we do. Thank you.
Sincerely,
